2. How to remove the yellowish stain from the insides? When popcorn or other dishes get burnt it may result in yellowish stains. They do not go off very easily. Acetone is the best agent for removing the yellow stains. Mix acetone in hot water. Dip a cloth or sponge in this solution. Rub it on the sides and on the top. Leave it from sometime. Then wipe with a wet sponge and then a dry sponge or cotton cloth. If the stains are tough you have to repeat the process a few times.
3. How to remove the odor? Most of the odor may go away when you use lime or vinegar. Burnt odor may not go away. You can use vanilla essence to remove the burnt odor. Add a few drops of vanilla essence to a cup of water and let it to boil. You can also cook vegetables with strong flavor. The smell from the vegetables will replace the burnt odor. A cup of strong coffee could also take away the odor from the oven. If the odor is very strong, add a few pieces of charcoal in a newspaper and fold it. Place it inside the oven and keep the door locked for a few days. The charcoal has the capacity of absorbing the odor.
How to clean the exterior? The door, the tops and the sides should be wiped with lime, vinegar or baking soda solution, whichever you used to clean the interiors. You can also use mild detergent solution. The glass door looks the best when cleaned with paper towels.
